EDGE Contributes to the Success of the Evaluation of the SHAPES European Project
May 2021

On May 25th 2021, the partners of the SHAPES European Project gathered for the project’s evaluation meeting with the European Commission’s Project Officer and three independent evaluators. At the meeting, the SHAPES Project Coordinator and the project’s Work Package Leaders provided a summary of the developments and progress of the last 18 months of work. Following the presentations, the evaluators named by the Commission declared they were impressed with the project’s results, and rendered compliments to the performed work, considering the project’s objectives, evolution and impact.
EDGE was in charge of presenting the work package dedicated to the long-term sustainability of the project results, centred in the creation of a thorough market analysis and of the business and socioeconomic efficiency models applicable to the SHAPES Platform, as well as in the development of a marketplace fully centred in the ageing phenomenon and in the adoption of the SHAPES integrated care model for an active, independent and healthy living. Responsible for naming the project, this work package will develop the tools allowing the SHAPES partners to effectively shape the market for adopting their innovative vision of health and social care services delivery to the frailest citizens in our society.
Actively involving the SHAPES partners and the end-users of the SHAPES Platform, EDGE will coordinate in the next 30 months the process that will combine the different results achieved in the Project into a common innovative vision and voice its added-value so as to generate a transversal impact in the European society towards the valuation of an active, independent, autonomous and healthy ageing.
