EDGE participated in the 3rd edition of the Portugal eHealth Summit 2019, an event that took place in Lisbon, from March 19th to 22nd at the Altice Arena, promoted by the Portuguese Ministry of Health, through the SPMS and with the support of the Presidency of the Republic.
This event represents a unique opportunity to accompany the latest novelties in the digital transformation processes of the Health sector in Portugal, in full alignment with the best international practices. EDGE's participation evolves from the company's involvement in several projects with entities stemming from the Health sector, namely in what relates to the eCare Ambient Assisted Living Platform, which is an innovative big data platform integrating wellbeing, ambient living and real world data to promote improved quality of life.
The Portugal Health Summit 2019 was dedicated to the new innovation paradigms in technology and Health, associated with artificial intelligence, the sharing of data and cybersecurity. The event gathered more than 15 thousand participants and another 25 thousand attending remotely via live streaming, 50 startups, 90 exhibitors and more than 200 national and international spokespersons, who haveanimated more than 400 thematic sessions and contributed to consolidate the Portugal eHealth Summit as the largest technological and health summit in Portugal.
