On October 6th 2021, EDGE participated as a key spokesperson in SPHINX4HEALTH: The Universal Toolkit for the Cybersecurity of Healthcare Organisations, organised by the Hospital do Espírito Santo de Évora (HESE), as part of the dissemination activities of the European project SPHINX.
SPHINX4HEALTH gathered stakeholders from the cybersecurity and the health security to discuss the growing cybersecurity challenges faced by organisations that provide healthcarer services, concerning the safeguard of their patients’ personal data and privacy. The different SPHINX partners had the opportunity to present the different cybersecurity tools that form the SPHINX System, highlighting its innovative characteristics in the prevention, fight and recovery from cyberattacks. Details associated to the installation, operation and management of the SPHINX Systems were also addressed, stimulating the interest of potential users in the Health world.
The SPHINX4HEALTH event participants had also the opportunity to hear Dr. Marco Manso, EDGE’s CEO, explain the added-value of the SPHINX System and its services for the hospital’s cybersecurity infrastructure, based on EDGE’s and HESE’s experience, as HESE explores the digital transformation of its operations and offers new care delivery services, such as EDGE’s eCare Platform for the remote monitoring of patients.
