EDGE was an active participant to the Security Mission Information & Innovation Group (SMI2G) Brokerage Event organised by the European Organisation for Security (EOS), the Integrated Mission Group for Security (IMG-S), the European Association of Research and Technology Organisations (EARTO) and the SEREN4 Network, that took place on January 29th and 30th in Brussels, at the Catholic University of Louvain. The event gathered dozens of entities looking for partners to build future proposals for the Security calls of the Horizon 2020 programme.
EDGE developed several networking initiatives, presenting its solutions portfolio and its interesting curriculum in European research and innovation projects, namely the SPHINX, SHAPES and AIMES projects, with the clear objective of stimulating the interest of relevant partners towards EDGE's integration in the relevant consortia preparing for the last calls of the Horizon 2020 programme.
The SMI2G Brokerage events occur annually since 2004 and, in 2020, they gathered more than 400 representatives of academia, industry, non-governmental organisations and practitioners that usually collaborate in European research, development and innovation projects.
