As part of the 4-year European Project SHAPES, EDGE has developed a set of innovation cards that highlight the new technologies brought by EDGE to the Project.
The innovation cards aim to systematise in simple and accessible way the relevant information about the broad set of new technologies, concepts, approaches and innovations to be demonstrated in the SHAPES large-scale pilot campaign and validate their capability to overcome the needs and requirements identified in the delivery of integrated care to the older persons.
In this context, EDGE created the innovation cards that comprised the eCare Platform in the self-management of chronic diseases and the remote patient monitoring regimens, the connected medical devices and the IoT smart fitness trackers and the monitoring of key health and wellbeing data, the monitoring of physical activity, including dance, and the monitoring of sleep quality. EDGE proposes this set of innovative technologies for SHAPES pilot activities, due to start in 2022.
