MAESTRA Delivers Promising Results in Real Life Tests
August 2016

For the last ten months, EDGE's intelligent domotics platform MAESTRA has been subjected to a set of tests in real life conditions, involving its different functional modules with the objective of validating the Platform's performance in different environments.
The results of the performed tests indicate that MAESTRA has successfully assessed the status of the different intelligent sensors and summarised the gathered information in a risk analysis module that supports the platform's decision-making process with respect to energy optimisation.
Of the 70 installed intelligent equipment, MAESTRA successfuly identified the simulated anomalies in 4 equipment (~5%), as well as the different indicators of system deterioration, including those presenting an impact on energy consumption levels (faulty lamps, appliances' ghost consumption, plumbing leaks), and attained a 20% reduction in energy consumption, pinpointing improvement areas. Furthermore, MAESTRA revealed a 100% success rate in the capability to maintain up-to-date and accessible the real-time data from the Platform's intelligent devices.
