EDGE announces that the third and final pilot activity of the AIMES project will take place in Portugal, on December 17th 2021, with the support of the AIMES partners, Deveryware and Omnitor.
This Pilot will demonstrate how IP-enabled and multimedia technologies facilitate the work of PSAP operators and First Responders, highlighting emergency calls in roaming scenarios, multimedia (video, audio and text) emergency calls with automatic translation and the automated dispatch of emergency response teams.
In addition, the AIMES Pilot in Portugal will showcase how First Responders are easily integrated into the emergency communication and information loop. An innovative application integrated in a domiciliary hospitalisation environment is key to automatically detect a medical emergency and activate a medical emergency response involving the care team that accompanies the patient.
Participants in the AIMES Pilot in Portugal are invited to discuss the challenges and opportunities for next generation emergency services, as advanced Internet-enabled, multimedia and interoperability technologies combine to foster a faster, more efficient and effective emergency response.
The event is expected to have a hybrid format, combining the presential and virtual formats, ensuring a memorable experience to all participants.
