The 3rd edition of the European Alliance for Innovation International Conference was dedicated to IoT interoperability. Subjects related with interoperability, communication and the data sharing or exchange among IoT devices were the main target for discussions at this event, that took place on November 6th and 7th, in Valencia, Spain.
EDGE contributed for the debate with the experience gained in the development of the MAESTRA Platform, highlighting its multiple dimensions, including automation, energy efficiency, autonomy support in-house and assistance in emergency situations. In this last dimension, the resource to simple notifications of devices that detect smoke or dangerous gases, to text-to-speech tools and to pre-formated messages has enabled MAESTRA to automatically alert emergency services in case of emergency.
