Award

The NATO SAS-085 Research Group received the NATO Scientific Accomplishment Award at the Executive Session of the Science and Technology Council, held on the 26th and 27th of March 2014.
An EDGE representative integrated the Portuguese team that contributed to the SAS-085 work and to the production of the Group's final report on C2 Agility and the Requisite Maturity. The report conclusions are that C2 Agility is desirable and feasible to deal with the 21st century complex challenges. C2 Agility is therefore a command and control capability that enables to successfully apply, address and/or explore change in the circumstances, enabling organisations to employ their resources effectively and timely to attain their objectives.
The award ceremony will take place in the Fall meeting of the Science and Technology Council, which will be held from 17th to 19th September 2014, in Bratislava.
